The first-ever Schmoedown Throwdown is scheduled for February 23, and TriviaSD has exclusively learned that Mike Kalinowski will be defending his Innergeekdom belt, live!
Mike Kalinowski, who won the Innergeekdom Belt at Schmoedown Spectacular III, after a year of scheming behind the scenes, will defend against the winner of a #1 contender’s match.
We have also exclusively learned that the #1 contender’s match will be between Rachel “The Crusher” Cushing and Adam “The Haymaker” Hlavac. Their match will debut on February 11 for $2 patrons, February 12 for $1 patrons, and February 14 for the public. (Jason Inman, the former Innergeekdom Champion and current #1 ranked player, has opted to sit out the rest of the season until his schedule clears up.)
TriviaSD has also learned that there will definitely be an undercard for this first-ever Schmoedown Throwdown, but those competitors have not been revealed (yet).
The Schmoedown Throwdown is a live event, streamed from Collider Studios! The show will available to Patrons at the $10 tier, but non-Patrons can also access the livestream for $2.99. The stream will air on February 23, 2019, is expected to begin at 7pm (subject to change), and will be available for 24 hours. (The matches will be released to the public on the following Friday, March 1.)
